Welcome Bonus Promotion

The following are the terms and conditions of the 'Welcome Bonus Promotion' (the 'Promotion') for www.888poker.com (the “Site”). If you play or register with the Site in the UK, the Promotion is organized by 888 UK Limited. Otherwise, the Promotion is organized by the company defined in the User Agreement applicable to you.

General Terms and Conditions

1.     We expect you to be fair when you take part in promotions. We consider certain types of play to be unfair and to break these terms and conditions. These unfair types of play include, without limitation, the following:

a)    using ‘minimal risk wagering patterns’ (that is, a set pattern of bets or stakes that unfairly minimises risks or opposite betting – eg. betting on red/black in roulette in equal amounts);

b)    sharing personalised promotions (that is, promotions only available to specific customers we offer them to) with others and/or taking part in any personalised promotion forwarded to you by someone else when it was not intended for you;

c)    colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage) in relation to the promotion;

d)    taking part in a promotion that is not available in the country you live in;

e)    using more than one account per household or per IP address;

f)     taking advantage of broken mechanics and combination of loopholes on the game that leads to abusing the promotion/offer/bonus; and

g)    purchasing all the tickets for a free game; or repeatedly depositing, cashing out and redepositing purely to gain a deposit related bonus.

2.     Eligibility for promotions is limited to one player per household even if there is more than one computer retained at the address. The identity of a user will be determined based on all or any combination of the following: name, mailing address, e-mail address, IP address, payment card number, computer, and any other form of identification that may be required.

3.     If you take part in any play that we consider to be unfair, we may cancel any bonuses, offers or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus/offer you have received as part of any promotion we have cancelled, and either:

a)    void any bets/stakes funded by a bonus/offer (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or

b)    remove any winnings relating to any bonus/offer.

4.     888 reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet, stake or similar transaction requested by you: (i) where you have breached these terms and conditions; or (ii) at any time in our sole discretion, except that we will not exercise (or seek to enforce) any such restriction if you have already made one or more qualifying bets/stakes in respect of the promotion and the exercise of our discretion would affect your ability to:

a)    receive the free bets/credit, or the full expected value of the free bets/credit, from the promotion, where you have placed all the necessary qualifying bets/stakes;

b)    place the remaining qualifying bets/stakes required by the promotion, and consequently receive the free bets/credit, or the full expected value of the free bets/credit, from the promotion, to which you would be entitled as a result; or

c)    materially affect your ability to complete the qualifying bets/stakes required by the promotion.

5.     You may not participate in the promotion (and you will not be entitled to receive any free bets/credit or bonus/offer) if you have previously been informed by 888 that you are excluded from participating in promotions or any gaming or wagering on the 888 PC app or the 888 iOS or Android Mobile app.

6.     888 has the right to refuse or withhold free bets/credit (or any winnings from free bets/credit or bonus/offer) in the event of funds you have wagered being cancelled or denied by any payment service.

7.     We can change or cancel this promotion, or change these terms and conditions:

a)    without giving you notice, if the change or cancellation is needed because of any change in law or regulation; or

b)    by giving you notice beforehand, if the change or cancellation is for any other valid reason (for example, if there is a fault in the software or systems we use to provide this promotion, we identify a mistake in these terms and conditions, or we are discontinuing the promotion for any other reason).

8.     We can also award an equivalent bonus/offer to the one referred to in this promotion.

9.     We will not be responsible for any technical, hardware or software failures, or any unavailable or lost network conditions which may result in incorrect information being displayed, or affect your ability to enter or take part in the promotion. If there is any dispute over your eligibility for the promotion, our decision will be final.

10.  Your use of our website and app, and your betting or gaming activity on it, is governed by our User Agreement (currently available here for customers in European Single Market member states and here for customers outside European single Market members states) and the 888poker Bonus Policy (currently available here).  In addition to these promotional terms and conditions, you must read the following documents before participating in this promotion:

If any of these terms and conditions conflict with the provisions of the User Agreement, the terms of the User Agreement will prevail to that extent. 

11.  You may request withdrawal of your available balance funds (including, without limitation, your deposit balance) from your 888poker account at any time subject to the terms outlined in Withdrawal Policy.

12.  For European Single Market member states (except for states in which our services are provided under a local license), these terms and conditions are governed by, and interpreted in line with, the laws of Malta. Any legal action in connection with these terms and conditions will be dealt with in the courts of Malta.

Eligibility

1. You may only participate in the Promotion, if you have registered with the Site and have yet to deposit any real money in your account with the Site
2. You may be asked at any stage to provide us with a proof of age and/or identity.
3. If you have already made a first deposit or previously had an account with any site owned or operated by an entity within the 888 group of companies you shall not be entitled to participate in the Promotion.
4. Players who benefit from this Promotion will not be eligible to benefit from any other first deposit or welcome bonus promotions offered or run by the Site.
5. You may not combine this welcome offer with any other type of welcome offer or first deposit offer provided by the Site.
6. The Welcome Bonus shall expire within 30 days of your first deposit.
7. Players who are offered an 888poker calculation tool in their registration form, shall be eligible to receive this tool on top of their Welcome Bonus, provided that they make their first deposit within twenty-four (24) hours from registration.

The Promotion

1. To be receive a Welcome Bonus, a player must open a new account with the Site and make a first deposit in real money equal to or greater than the minimum required deposit, whilst entering the promotion code WELCOME100, during the Promotion Period. Such promotion code may only be used once. For example, if your first deposit is $50 whilst using the promotion code, you will receive a welcome bonus of $50. The Welcome Bonus is capped at $1000.
2. The bonus granted under this Promotion is a “pending bonus” which is granted to you in a restricted state that may not be accessed nor wagered with, but are released into a player’s real-money bankroll incrementally as he/she accumulates Bonus Points. The Welcome Bonus will be remitted to the player's account in $10 increments each time the player has collected 10 Bonus Points per every $1 of the Welcome Bonus. For example: If you make a first deposit of $100, then you will receive your Welcome Bonus in pending installments of $10; each time you generate 100 Bonus Points, $10 will be released into your account up to 100% of your deposit amount = $100. 3. You can make deposits following your initial deposit in order to reach certain bonus levels, however only the initial deposit amount shall be considered in relation to awarding the Welcome Bonus.
4. The Welcome Bonus will be credited to the players account within seventy-two (72) hours of the player becoming eligible to receive it.
5. The Welcome Bonus and any winnings generated by the Welcome Bonus on casino games must fulfill points accumulation requirements at the Site within 90 days of being credited to a player's account. Otherwise any available bonus amount and any winnings generated through the same on casino games not used by a player within the relevant time period will be cancelled and removed from the player's bankroll.
6. The Welcome Bonus and any winnings generated by the Welcome Bonus on casino games must fulfill points accumulation requirements at the Site within 90 days of being credited to a player's account. Otherwise any available bonus amount and any winnings generated through the same on casino games not used by a player within the relevant time period will be cancelled and removed from the player's bankroll.
7. Any winnings generated from bonus money, whether in whole or in part, shall be paid to the winning player as follows: (i) a payment to the player's real bankroll up to the bet amount that was funded from real money; (ii) a payment to the player's 'bonus wallet' up to the original bonus amount used to fund the bet or up to the amount that was in the player's 'bonus wallet' prior to funding the bet, whichever is greater; and (iii) a payment of remaining winnings to the player's real bankroll if associated with poker games or to the 'bonus wallet' if the general bonus was played in casino games.
8. If you place a wager on casino games using the winnings generated by the free spins and win you will receive, depending on your account currency, up to a maximum of $500/€500/£500/ SEK5000 in winnings. If your winnings exceed $500/€500/£500/SEK5000 you will only receive $500/€500/£500/SEK5000.
